Few gamers faced an error "CRC" while installing Max Payne 3 on their PCs. So i decided to share the solution for the same. Actually CRC means "cyclic redundancy Check error" that occurs due to bad, fault or scratched CD/DVD or bad CD/DVD ROM.

Hence, you should check your Max Payne 3 DVD by installing in another computer OR any other DVD in your DVD rom. This will help you find which one of these is the culprit.

If installation went fine on another computer, clean your DVD Rom, update its drivers and install the game again.

And i you get the same problem with those game DVDs on another computer as well, you should contact the retailer as soon as possible and get your DVDs replaced.

Gamers with downloaded digital Copy can also face this error. In such cases you your downloaded copies may be corrupted, or in-complete downloaded or could be server problem.
